Face Mask Sewing Project
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic and in partnership with Stitching Hearts Worldwide, Salt Lake County has set up a sewing center where volunteers can come to sew face masks at the County Library’s Viridian Event Center.

Court Order Service Volunteer Opportunities
The Salt Lake County Library is happy to accommodate court-mandated service if charges are within our parameters. All Court Ordered Volunteers are screened by the Library System Volunteer Coordinator prior to service. Court Ordered Community Service opportunities are limited. - Salt Lake County Volunteer Contract
- Background Check Waiver (18 years and older)
- All volunteers over 18 years old are required to pass a background check prior to volunteering.
