Your Hosts
Sarah Müller:
Sarah has been working for the County Library for 6 years, currently as a Library Assistant at Kearns. They help run Kearns' teen Queer-Straight Alliance and are working on their Masters in Library and Information Science at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. You can often find them in the Kearns Create Space, making acrylic earrings with the laser cutter.
Leonides Ortiz:
Leonides (Lee) Ortiz is a Senior Librarian with the Lifelong Learning team. She has filled a few different positions here at the County Library since 2019. Originally from Upstate New York, Leonides has called Utah home for the last 8 years and is still in awe of the mountains. She enjoys a good cup of tea or coffee, British crime and baking shows, history and music documentaries, and will never say no to a concert. Poetry is her jam and if you let her, she will talk for hours about it and maybe share some of her own work as well.
Mieke Nielson:
Mieke has worked for the County Library for 9 years in a variety of positions. She is currently a children’s librarian at the Sandy branch. Mieke has a love of all things gaming. She ran the Animal Crossing Island for the County Library system, and can often be found playing Dungeons and Dragons.
