Mondays in October go from boring to BOO-ring with Freaky Family Films. These family friendly, big-screen Halloween movies are perfect for kids.

October 5 | Nightmare Before Christmas | 1993, rated PG
Jack Skellington, king of Halloween Town, discovers Christmas Town, but his attempts to bring Christmas to his home causes confusion.

October 12 | Hotel Transylvania | 2012, rated PG
Dracula, who operates a high-end resort away from the human world, goes into overprotective mode when a boy discovers the resort and falls for the count's teenaged daughter.

October 19 | Monsters Inc. | 2001, rated G
In order to power the city, monsters have to scare children so that they scream. However, the children are toxic to the monsters, and after a child gets through, two monsters realize things may not be what they think.

October 26 | Creature from the Black Lagoon | 1954, rated G
A strange prehistoric beast lurks in the depths of the Amazonian jungle. A group of scientists try to capture the animal and bring it back to civilization for study.

Tickets are free, but reservations are required to aid in social distancing. Facemasks must be worn.

October Thursdays go from boring to BOO-ring with the Food, Fright, and Flicks! These frighteningly good, big-screen horror movie celebrations include a Food Truck League roundup before the show.

A Nightmare on Elm Street (R), October 8
The monstrous spirit of a slain child murderer seeks revenge by invading the dreams of teenagers whose parents were responsible for his untimely death.

The Ring (PG-13), October 15
A journalist must investigate a mysterious videotape which seems to cause the death of anyone who views it

A young Black man visits his white girlfriend's parents for the weekend, where his simmering uneasiness about their reception of him eventually reaches a boiling point.

Doctor Sleep (R), October 29
Years following the events of The Shining (1980), a now-adult Dan Torrance must protect a young girl with similar powers from a cult known as The True Knot, who prey on children with powers to remain immortal.
