WHY:
Salt Lake County Library is very pleased to welcome New York Times bestselling author J. A. Jance for a discussion and signing of her new book, Queen of the Night. The signing will be on Saturday, July 31 at 2:00 p.m. at the Whitmore Library (located at 2197 Fort Union Boulevard). Books will be available for purchase at the event courtesy of The King’s English Bookshop. Pre-registration at our website for this event is recommended: slcolibrary.org.

J.A. Jance is the top 10 New York Times bestselling author of the J.P. Beaumont series, the Joanna Brady series, the Ali Reynolds series, three inter-related thrillers featuring the Walker family, and a book of poetry. Her books have more than 10 million copies in print. Queen of the Night (HarperCollins Publishers) is her 39th published mystery. She is an avid crusader for many causes including the American Cancer Society, Gildaʼs Club, the Humane Society, the YMCA and the Girl Scouts. A lover of animals, she has a golden retriever, Daphne, named for Daphne du Maurier. Born in South Dakota and raised in Bisbee, Arizona, Jance and her husband now split their time between Washington State and Arizona.
