Suggest A Purchase

Please note that the library system is currently not ordering physical materials as we balance accounts at the end of the year. We will resume ordering in mid-January.

The Library cannot purchase every title requested, but we do take your suggestions seriously. We evaluate the suggested item according to the criteria established in the reference: Material Selection Policy

Please do not request items that have not yet been published.

For local authors, if you would like us to consider your materials, please use the author submission form.

To request that The County Library purchase a title, please submit the following information.

[ ] The item will be ordered. Once it appears in the catalog you may request it.
[ ] The item you requested is already in the catalog. Use this link to place a hold on it:
[ ] The item is out of print or no longer being created, and cannot be obtained by the library.
[ ] The item is not available for purchase from our suppliers.
[ ] The item will not be purchased because it does not meet our Collection Management Policy.
[ ] The item is not yet published or released for purchase. It is scheduled for release on:
[ ] The item is best obtained through the Inter-Library Loan program, bringing it from outside the County Library system. Instructions for requesting an ILL through the library catalog, or contact the library (801-943-4636) for help placing an ILL request. This generally takes 1-8 weeks.
