Donations and Drives
The County Library is committed to improving the lives of everyone in our community. Each year, we partner with a few County agencies and non-profit organizations to collect and redistribute a variety of resources to support those in need. These drives/donation opportunities are detailed below:
April: Food Drive in partnership with Utah Food Bank
September: Diaper Drive in partnership with Utah Diaper Bank
October: Costume Drive/Swap*
November: Pet Food Drive in partnership with Aging and Adult Services
December: Angel Tree in partnership with Salt Lake County Youth Services
In addition to the annual drives, the County Library also appreciates book and material donations. Although donations may not be added to our collection, they are regularly redistributed in the community to library-based programs such as South Main Clinic, Alta Reading Room, The Road Home, and Juvenile Justice Services. Additional details are outlined in the County’s Gifts policy.
For details about these drives and donation opportunities, please stop by any of our locations.
Thank you, in advance.
