General Instructions

Welcome to Salt Lake County Library’s eAudiobooks. Here are a few details and instructions.

eAudiobooks are digital recordings of books that you listen to.  You can download and listen to eAudiobooks from a PC, or from a portable device.

NOTE: Recorded Books eAudioBooks are now hosted by OneClick.  Recorded Books users must create a new account and download the OneClickdigital software. OneClick is CURRENTLY NOT WORKING WITH MP3 devices. Only transfers successfully with iPods or iPhones at this time.

The library has two suppliers of  eAudiobooks, Recorded Books and OverDrive. Both companies provide similar formats, so you can listen to them on the same devices, but they use DIFFERENT DOWNLOADING SOFTWARE and have slightly different rules to manage their titles. You should be able to setup your device to browse, download, and listen to titles from either supplier.
