In addition to traditional author visits, we regularly offer programs specific to writing. Programs are offered throughout the year at many library locations.

CANCELLED Author Visit: Alma Katsu
Alma Katsu at the County Library

In partnership with The Printed Garden

We regret to inform you that on account of potential COVID-19/Coronavirus travel-related danger of infection and participation in large group events, our event with Alma Katsu at Sandy has been cancelled.

We invite you to connect with Alma Katsu through social media to celebrate the launch of her new book, The Deep, an eerie, psychological twist on the sinking of the Titanic.

Alma Katsu is the author of The Hunger, a reimagining of the story of the Donner Party, which made NPR’s list of the 100 Best Horror Stories, and was named one of the best novels in 2018 by the Observer. Katsu lives outside Washington, DC, and is a signature reviewer for Publishers Weekly. Prior to publication of her first novel, Katsu had a long career in intelligence, working for several US agencies and a think tank. She currently is a consultant on emerging technologies.
