Local Authors & You

Meet local authors, participate in writing workshops and enjoy panel discussions. Keynote event this year is "Battle of the Genres" Friday at 7 pm. The main event Saturday starts at Noon with our industry panel and authors, and workshops from 1-6 pm.

Books will be available for purchase and signing at the event.

In addition to traditional author visits, we regularly offer programs specific to writing. Programs are offered throughout the year at many library location including the annual Local Authors & You — a gathering where aspiring writers have the opportunity to meet and work with local published authors as well as learn the tools of the trade.
