  • The Ruth Vine Tyler library opened in January of 1967, and is named after the founder and first Director of the County Library System.
  • The Tyler library is 11,346 sq.ft.; and sits on 1 ¾ acres, with plenty of parking and lovely gardens.
  • Conveniently located right below State Street, near the Midvale Center Trax stop.
  • An auditorium with a 50 person capacity is available for public meetings.
  • Join us Wednesday mornings for our Drop in Storytime, and Tuesday afternoons for our After-School Club!
  • Free WiFi is available in the library as well as 21 computers w/Internet, Microsoft Office and Printing.
  • The Tyler library has an excellent Spanish collection, with fiction and non-fiction books for kids and adults, plus DVDs, CDs, and audio-books!
  • The Tyler library is an excellent place to study, with plenty of tables and chairs.
