CAN I DOWNLOAD EBOOKS IN THE LIBRARY?

Books on the Go can be enjoyed at home, at work, or when you travel, but cannot be used on computers in the library.

HOW MANY HOLDS CAN I PLACE AT ONE TIME FOR EBOOKS?

EBSCOHost eBooks are immediately available to view in your browser.
OverDrive titles are limited to 5 holds active at the same time.

HOW LONG DO I HAVE TO DOWNLOAD MY EBOOK HOLD AFTER I AM NOTIFIED THAT IT IS READY FOR DOWNLOAD?

Books on the Go holds must be downloaded within two days of notice of availability.

IF I LOSE MY LIBRARY CARD CAN I STILL GET MY EBOOK HOLDS?

If you lose your library card, you lose your Books on the Go holds.

HOW MANY EBOOKS CAN I CHECK OUT AT ONE TIME?

You are limited to 10 titles checked out at one time.

HOW LONG CAN I KEEP EBOOK TITLES?

The loan period for most Books on the Go is three weeks, unless you select a shorter loan period (shorter option OverDrive eBooks only - OverDrive eBooks offers checkout periods, for 7, 14 or 21 days. After it expires you may check the item out again or place a hold.).

CAN I RETURN MY EBOOK EARLY?

OverDrive Adobe Digital Editions eBooks may be returned anytime before the due date within the Adobe Digital Editions software.

WHY WOULD I WANT TO SELECT A SHORTER LOAN PERIOD FOR EBOOK TITLES?

You are limited to 10 Books on the Go titles checked out at one time. If you return a book sooner then you are able to download additional titles.
