CAN I DOWNLOAD EAUDIOBOOKS IN THE LIBRARY?

Books on the Go can be enjoyed at home, at work, or when you travel, but cannot be used on computers in the library.

HOW MANY HOLDS CAN I PLACE AT ONE TIME FOR EAUDIOBOOKS?

You are limited to 5 holds active at the same time.

HOW LONG DO I HAVE TO DOWNLOAD MY EAUDIOBOOK HOLD AFTER I AM NOTIFIED THAT IT IS READY FOR DOWNLOAD?

Books on the Go holds must be downloaded within two days of notice of availability.

IF I LOSE MY LIBRARY CARD CAN I STILL GET MY EAUDIOBOOK HOLDS?

If you lose your library card, you lose your Books on the Go holds.

HOW MANY EAUDIOBOOKS CAN I CHECK OUT AT ONE TIME?

You are limited to 10 titles checked out at one time.

HOW LONG CAN I KEEP EAUDIOBOOK TITLES?

The loan period for most Books on the Go is three weeks, unless you select a shorter loan period (shorter option OverDrive eAudiobooks only - OverDrive eAudiobooks offers checkout periods, for 7, 14 or 21 days. After it expires you may check the item out again or place a hold.).

CAN I RETURN MY EAUDIOBOOK EARLY?
  • OverDrive:  No, you cannot return eAudiobooks early.  OverDrive offers checkout periods, for 7, 14, 21 days, selected when you download the title, but you cannot return a title early.
  • Recorded Books:Yes, you can return eAudiobooks early using the OneClickdigital Media Manager software.
