The Tattooed Lady

Blues veteran Marcia Ball will be touching down in Park City on February 14 for a show at the Eccles Center For The Performing Arts. The pianist and singer's new album, The Tattooed Lady and The Alligator Man, was released in 2014. Guitar legend Elvin Bishop is co-headlining the show. The Irish singer/songwriter Hozier will be performing at The Depot on February 17. Hozier was one of the biggest breakout artists of 2014. His self-titled album has been a big hit, driven by the single "Take Me to Church,"  which is a Grammy nominee for Song of the Year. Rambunctious indie rockers Dr. Dog are rolling into town for a show at The Depot on February 20. The group's last album, B-Room, was released in 2013. Dr. Dog also has a new live album, Live at a Flamingo Hotel, available on vinyl and as a download.

Kingsbury Hall is hosting country/folk singer Rosanne Cash on February 21. The River & The Thread, her first album of original material in eight years, is nominated for three Grammy Awards, including Best Americana Album. Jazz vocalist and local favorite Stacey Kent will be performing at the Capitol Theatre on February 23 as part of the JazzSLC concert series. Her most recent album, The Changing Lights, is a charming mix of standards and originals sung in English, French, and Portuguese.
