Phosphorescent Blues

Punch Brothers, the string band led by mandolinist Chris Thile, is performing at The Depot on April 6. The band's latest album, The Phosphorescent Blues, was just released in January. The album touches on elements of bluegrass, folk, and classical music. The Hot Sardines will be bringing their up-tempo 1920's style jazz to the Eccles Center For The Performing Arts in Park City on April 11. The group's album The Hot Sardines was a surprise hit in 2014. Expect a night of hot, swinging jazz. For a change of pace, you can catch the old school metal band Black Label Society at The Depot on April 17. Led by guitarist Zakk Wylde, the hard-rocking group's last album, Catacombs of the Black Vatican, came out in 2014.

Hungry Ghosts

Swedish singer/songwriter Jose Gonzalez is playing at The Depot on April 22. The singer just released Vestiges & Claws, his first solo album in seven years. Gonzalez combines a sparse instrumental sound with deeply ruminative lyrics. Indie rockers OK Go have made a name for themselves with their imaginative, colorful videos. OK Go will be performing at The Complex on April 25. Hungry Ghosts, the group's fourth album, was released last year.
