July Musical Events
Carry The Fire

July brings a number of Country and Folk concerts throughout the valley. Delta Rae will be performing at the Sandy Amphitheater on July 16. Best known for their Southern Gothic hit "Bottom of the River" the up and coming multi-talented band will be performing songs from the debut release "Carry the Fire" and forthcoming EP. Mary Chapin Carpenter will be appearing with the Utah Symphony, along with arranger and conductor Vince Mendoza, at the Snow Valley Outdoor Amphitheater at Deer Valley Resort on July 19. The fully orchestrated performance will feature tunes from her recent release "Songs from the Movie".

Two Lanes Of Freedom

Later in the month country icon Tim McGraw returns to Salt Lake for a performance on July 25 at the USANA Amphitheatre in West Valley as part of his national Sundown Heaven Town tour. McGraw's tour falls neatly between his 2013 album "Two Lanes of Freedom" and "Sundown Heaven Town" which will be out on September 16. The concert will also feature Cassadee Pope, Season 3 winner of The Voice and Kip Moore as opening acts. Additional country acts appearing later on in the summer at USANA Amphitheatre include Keith Urban, Alabama and Blake Shelton.
