Social Disortion is a long running punk rock band from Orange County, California.  Led by Mike Ness, the group has put out eight albums since 1983 and has been performing for over 30 years.  Their latest album, Hard Times and Nursery Rhymes, was released in 2011.  The Social Distortion sound mixes elements of rockabilly, blues, and country music with the attitude and drive of punk rock.  Popular Social Distortion songs include "Story of My Life," "Ball and Chain," "Bad Luck," "I Was Wrong," as well as Johnny Cash's "Ring of Fire."  The new album includes a cover of Hank Williams' "Alone and Forsaken" along with originals like "Machine Gun Blues" and "California (Hustle and Flow)."
