CAN I DOWNLOAD MUSIC IN THE LIBRARY?

Music on the Go can be downloaded to your flash drive from computers in the library.

ARE THERE ANY LIMITS FOR MY MUSIC DOWNLOADS?

You can download 3 songs (tracks) per week.

HOW MANY CHANCES DO I GET TO COMPLETE A MUSIC  DOWNLOAD?

You get 3 chances to download a title to your computer. If you exceed your limit, wait until next week to try again.

HOW LONG CAN I KEEP MY MUSIC DOWNLOADS?

Anything downloaded to your computer should play as long as you wish to keep it.

HOW DO I TRANSFER A SONG TO MY PORTABLE DEVICE?

Drag and drop directly works for many portable devices, or copy through device management software, such as ITunes for Apple devices.

CAN I PREVIEW A SONG BEFORE DOWNLOADING?

Yes, click the blue arrow image at the beginning of each Freegal title for a 30 second preview of a song.

WHAT DO I DO IF THE SONG DID NOT FULLY DOWNLOAD?

Try re-downloading and SAVE from the Freegal  Recent Downloads folder. Note the location when you save the song to your computer. You get 3 chances to download a song. A re-download will not count against your weekly download limit.

MY WEEKLY DOWNLOAD COUNT INCREMENTED, BUT I DID NOT DOWNLOAD THE SONG?

If you hit cancel, or open when downloading, you do not save the song to your computer. It is temporarily held for you in your Freegal  Recent Downloads folder. Try re-downloading and SAVE from the Recent Downloads folder. Note the location when you save the song to your computer. You get 3 chances to download a song.

WHAT IS THE MY WISHLIST FEATURE AT THE FREEGAL SITE?

We do not use this service on the Freegal  site, so you may not use this service.
