The role of storytime is to inspire lifelong reading habits, encourage a love of children’s literature, give children and caregivers a positive experience with the library and perpetuate cultural literacy.
Salt Lake County provides a wide array of storytime experiences for babies and children, up to five years old. These programs include stories, finger plays, action rhymes, music, movement activities, art activities, puppets and creative dramatics.
Times and locations of storytimes are found under individual library calendar listings to the right or click on "ALL LIBRARIES" for all storytimes systemwide.
Some storytimes require pre-registration.
