  • Twenty-four public computers w/Internet, Microsoft Office and Printing.
  • A large auditorium space with a capacity of seventy people is available to reserve with access to a stage, piano, digital projector, sound system, tables and chairs. In addition, we have a large conference room, which accommodates up to 12 people, and a small conference room, which accommodates up to 4 people, available to reserve.
  • Free WiFi.
  • The Children's Room boasts a comprehensive collection, puppet theater, reading gazebo, rocking animal toys, and a "story time" room.
  • The library has over 49,000 square feet.
  • The Whitmore library is easily accessible from I-215 and is in close proximity to the Cottonwood Heights Recreation Center, several groceries and numerous retail stores and eateries.
  • The fourteen individual quiet study carrels are equipped with outlets.
  • The Spanish collection includes books, audiobooks, DVDs and CDs for adults and children.

    10:30 AM to 11:30 AM - Whitmore Storytime Room: Toddler Storytime is a storytime for caregiver and child to enjoy together. Your 2 1/2 - 3 1/2- year-old child will feel most comfortable and get the most out of the program while sitting in your lap. Toddler Storytime includes age appropriate stories, songs, fingerplays, puppets, art activities, and more. Be assured that we expect toddlers to act like toddlers. But if your little one becomes too disruptive, please take the child out of the room until they calm down. Free tickets will be available 30 minutes before the program starts for the first 20 children.

    10:30 AM to 11:30 AM - Whitmore Storytime Room: Preschool Storytime is a 30 - 45 minute program that will give your 3 1/2 to 5 year old child a chance to interact with other children, to develop a love of books, and to have fun. Parents are always welcome at storytime, but most preschoolers will be ready to attend on their own. We ask that no younger siblings attend in order to give these older children the rich literary experience that they deserve. Free tickets will be available 30 minutes before the program starts for the first 30 children
