  4. Scales & Tails Animal Show 2/4/2017

    3:00 PM to 4:00 PM - Smith Library Join Scales & Tails for a 45 minute educational show with 15 minutes of animal handling afterward. They bring creepy crawlies (spiders, scorpions, or roaches), lizards, a tortoise, and snakes for a total of 10 animals. There are four finale animals: A giant lizard, a giant snake, a giant tortoise, and a baby alligator or baby crocodile.

  7. Tesla Coil Science 5/20/2017

    2:00 PM to 3:00 PM - Smith Library Join David and Andrew for a talk about Nikola Tesla, electricity, and how Tesla coils work. Watch a demonstration of alternating current using a musical table top Tesla coil. See electricity in a light show of plasma! Attendees will then break into groups and experiment with their own mini Tesla coil kits.
