Sandy Library celebrated its 20^thanniversary in 2011 with newly remodeled children’s and teen areas.  In 2010 we added an electronic book sorter that runs  24 hours a day, allowing your items to be checked in immediately, and we built a new check out desk.  No more waiting in long lines to check out either.  With our new Self-Check out , you can check out in a flash.  Come and see our new look!  

The Sandy Library is the largest and busiest library in the Salt Lake County Library System, circulating over 1.5 million items annually.  Sandy offers a variety of interactive programs for children, teens and adults.  Teens can catch a movie with friends and our storytimes are great fun for toddlers and preschoolers.

With a large collection of DVDs, books on CD and music CDs, Sandy is the place to visit. Be sure and check out our ongoing art show, featuring talented artists from our local community.  We have 28 computers with Internet and word processing capability and a high-speed wireless network for your laptop. With a Quiet Study room, Sandy is the place to come to study.  Need a meeting room?
