More Upcoming Millcreek Community Library Events

  1. Art Exhibit by Melinda Frewin 6/29/2017

10:00 AM to 6:00 PM - Millcreek Library & Community Center: Melinda Frewin is a Millcreek artist working with glass, printing, and textiles. She earned a BFA in Sculpture Intermedia and a minor in Art Technology from the University of Utah. Her other activities include volunteering with the Millcreek Arts Council, a member of the Wasatch Area Lampwork Artists, and enjoying time with her family, friends, and rescued dogs. "Books have always been more to me than words between a cover. I have always believed that books held more surprises beyond their intentions. When I find a discarded book that has outdated information or had lost its value to the reader, I get excited to change into a new idea. The book itself will inspire the transformation and it will be altered into what I feel it fun and beautiful. The finished altered books give me joy and make me smile. "
